My Story

Chicago nightlife staple, Saint Devera merges his love of House & Techno to create a sound that embraces old and new.

Laotian and Puerto Rican, Devera pulls inspiration from the sounds heard as a teen. Borrowing mixtapes of electronica, techno, and hard house made by older cousins and Latin music of the 00's playing in the background of his childhood.

He began his professional career as a DJ in 2021 at the age of 23, playing all across Chicago. Holding down residencies at Hydrate Nightclub, Replay Lakeview, and Charlie's Chicago in North Halstead's premier LGBTQ+ neighborhood. He has also played his eccentric and experimental sound at venues such as House of Blues, Berlin Nightclub, Le Nocturne & Chicago's newest hot spot Never Have I Ever.

Next up for Devera, pursuing music production, a weekly spot on Chicago's LSD radio, and expanding his horizons through different spaces and neighborhoods throughout Chicago.
